Hi! Again, I've not been on this list when you wrote your message, so I can't reply properly. We've also a couple of X-Terminals (IGEL-Terminals to be precise), and I've seen exactly the same errors as you on some of the older ones. It seems to me that KDE uses some X features that older terminals can not handle. One problem seems to be the default GUI style: I've managed to get kdm running remote on the terminals by changing the GUI-style (in the KDE Control Center) from the "Keramik" style to something else (like KDE default). However, I didn't manage to log in with KDE on the older terminals, as almost all KDE-programs crashed (with SEGV). I'm afraid you may have to use another WM (like fvwm or Windowmaker). GNOME doesn't run, either. Cheers Olaf
