Hi All!
I am trying to develop an easy way for my son to create printed
flash cards. I'm starting with an open office spreadsheet which is
filled out in two columns. On the second sheet, the cells from the
first sheet are placed in the order they should be to print out as
labels, which I want to print out to a page of pre-perforated
business cards. So, I am loading these as a set of lables in a
regular document.
The problem is that the labels in the Open Office document can only
contain a certin number of lines. Unlike other programs (i.e. Word
Perfect for Windows), the extra lines are pushed into never-never
land and not into the next cell. I was hoping to be able to simply
add the necessary number of newlines manually to push the text into
the appropriate cell. However, this is not working.
Is this making sense? Is there a way to do this with open office or
am I stuck with using Windows products?
Regards,
jimmo
Good day Jimmo,
I would like to help you, but I don't know the answer to your question.
I would like to note though, that you are asking an OpenOffice.org question on a KDE question list.
You are likely to recieve far better help if you find a openOffice.org list to ask you question to.
I think you can subscribe to some OpenOffice.org lists from the OpenOffice.org homepage.
Have a good day :o)
Best regards :o)
