Suddenly, my KDE cannot get started. I am running SuSE 8.1 with KDE 3.1.3, and have been running it like this since a few weeks. After running into problems with Konqueror while browsing (started to loose connections) I tried to relogin, when KDE would suddenly not want to restart... KDM seems to run ok. But when I try to login as a user the splash screen starts, then hangs when initializing peripherals. Trying to login as root is a bit more helpful as there is a window appearing claiming that: Could not start ksmserver. Check your installation. (or something like this, I am in Windowmanager now) Any idea about what I can do now to get KDE back? Kostas
