Mike,
I can't think of a reason that Konq should not do the Java or Javascript
if everything is set correctly. I have never ever used a version of
Konq that didn't work with javascript or most java things either. Very
early on, there were some really heavy Java that might not work, but
you have what is sounding like Javascript stuff and that is completely
different than Java! One has nothing to do with the other!
There has to be a setting you have missed or messed up, but I honestly
don't know where to tell you to start looking at this point. Create
yourself another user, brand new and try the same spots after checking
your settings for Java, Javascript & correct locations of Mozilla
plugins. If that fails, then start Konq from a shell and see if you
get any reports of problems in the shell.
