Rather a way to pre-register known xxx file extension <--> to execute: usr/ X11R6/bin/OOo
Any ideas?
THis is still a bit of a pain. I do not know of any way of doing it from a script or editing the MIMES directly. If anyone knows please post an answer. Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------
FWIW: If anyone find them useful, below is the fist part, MIME-types and file extensions for pre-registering, (plus a subdirectory with decent icons.) Now all that is missing is the darn solution to link these extensions to the OOo executable in one shot. Theres is readme for both the MIME part and decent icons. http://www.bostreammail.com/kalev/OOo_mimetypes.zip jk -- Suse Linux 9.0 | 2.4.21-121-smp4G | KDE 3.1.4 | XFree86 v4.3.0.1
