Hi KDE Folk(s), I'm using SuSE 9.0 and was somewhat disappointed to miss kmplayer and MPlayer in that release. So I went and fetched MPlayer from Packmann (www.links2linux.de) and kmplayer from source. And I found kmplayer embedding well in Konq for quicktime trailers from apple.com for instance. Meanwhile I checked out KDE 3.2 beta from RPMS, found it not mature enough, dissed it and "refreshed" my old KDE 3.1.4. And no embedding of kmplayer anymore. I'm even unable to select "Embedded MPlayer for KDE" in the file types dialogue of Konq for embedding since it's just not listed (unlike before). Of course, I have reinstalled kmplayer from source after refreshing, and checked for the *.desktop file in /opt/kde/ share/services/... (I don't know the exact path now, but it's where all the other kparts are). What could I be missing ? Thanks for any clues, kind regards, Bernd.
