I'm trying to configurate several Linux clients to print through a remote cups server. The clients can show the existing printers (with kprinter, for example) but no specific information about each printer. The permissions are well defined, because the clients can recover those data with "wget http://cups-server:631/printers/printer.pp2d". All machines are running Suse 8.2.

Miguel, If I am understanding your question correctly you are trying to get printers on the network to work from other clients? If that is the case, then you will need to change your /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file to show each IP of printer bearing computer. As it is, CUPS is setup on to view localhost, so you need to tell it where to look for the printers.
