what exactly do you mean? User ian can change everything properly and user your_kid cannot?
Gruesse Sven HI
I mean if I change in my setup that kmail should pick up mail from server, it does it and holds (saves) the configuration . If the other user your_kid logs in and configures kmail to pick up mail from server. The next time he logs in the configuration is back to default. Nothing is saved. There are no messages to say that he does not permission to save. Ian - -- A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.
