Try printing from another KDE app and see. I have no problem printing from any
applications after accidentally finding out that changing the print system
works. I just double checked by printing from kmail (Kontact version) with no
problems.

- From what I have been reading the past 2 days on this list and on SuSE
English, a lot of people have been have problems with SuSE's kmail package
for KDE 3.1.1 and others too. Even if install Kontact doesn't solve your
problem, you will end up having a much nicer version of kmail. If problems
persist, you might want to install the KDE 3.1.1 from the SuSE rpm's on
kde.org which I have no problems with.
