Since upgrading my SuSE 8.1 system with the rpms from ftp.kde.org, kups has stopped working for users and root. When I try to start it from a shell, I see this error: kcontrol: ERROR: Module System/printmgr not found! However, when I search for printmgr.desktop, I find I have two of them: /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/SuSE/Settings/System/printmgr.desktop /opt/kde3/share/applnk/Settingsmenu/printmgr.desktop But they are different, and both seem to be older than they should be: ls -l /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/SuSE/Settings/System/printmgr.desktop /opt/kde3/share/applnk/Settingsmenu/printmgr.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8264 Sep 28 11:22 /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/SuSE/Settings/System/printmgr.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8976 Nov 18 05:14 /opt/kde3/share/applnk/Settingsmenu/printmgr.desktop Has anyone else run into this problem, and is there a solution?
