Hi Daniel,
I don't know why there are no i18n rpms there, but I think, the ones in ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/SuSE/noarch/ should do the trick.
They seem to work, thanks a lot. That error's gone but I'm afraid the more severe remain.
If you need kopete desperately, then fetch the src.rpm and try to rebuild it. You'll need some kde-devel packages too, the kdebase3-devel, kdelibs3-devel and kdenetwork3-devel should be all you need, but I don't know for sure.
Well, no, thanks, i don't need it desperately...if it were only kopete, I could live with a crash, but kate and konqueror-crashes make me think of a really unstable system.
Anyway? If one way doesn't work, there is always another one.... ;)
Well, not always, but maybe the "other way" is more often so straining (than having no other way at all) that it's easier to stay where you are or go back a bit and search for an easier route. Is the way back another way? bye, Jochen
