Hi Phil! I think you have uninstalled qt2 which yast2 relies on. Check the messages when you start yast2 from konsole. sux - -c yast2 I think you will get a message, that a library named libqt.so.2 could not be found. In that case, check if you really are missing the package qt rpm -q qt and if it says "not installed", then get and install http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/u... Hi
Just installed KDE 3.1 on SuSE 8.0 and everything appears fine but YaST2 will no longer run. It starts, but after I enter the root password nothing happens other than the dialog box closing! I have re-installed YaST2 from the original CDs and applied all updates but no change.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Phil
