Hi Christopher,
I am not sure what is happening to the transfer of your songs now. As
Stefan pointed out, whenever ripping, it will be slower as it is
converting from wav to ogg format. On my system for ogg or mp3, it
only takes about a minute to rip a song. Doesn't really have anything
to do with the speed of your cd there. That will only show up if you
are doing a direct copy. My first thoughts are that you may not have
all your Ogg Vorbis files installed.
