kicker icon lost/changed ??

I crashed last nite and it's been so long since something like that has
happened (windohs daze) that I was lost for a few minutes. Had to
manually fsck 2 partitions, etc.
I had to reconstruct the taskbar, ??I don't know why??.. When I added
the kicker 'k menu' applet, it installed with the wrong icon. I have
found what looks like the proper icon but do not know where to put it.
I always look for the easy problems <grin>. Any help will be
appreciated.
