Thanks for the thought. Before re-booting i tried it didn't work: it's like
KDE has got a new pointer to some weird font.
After rebooting it was anyway impossible: i had no characters on the KDE
desktop anymore.

Have you tried going back into controlcenter -> -> look and feel -> desktop ->appearance and choosing new fonts?
