KGhostview crops pictures arbitrarily in PDF?

G'day all.
Anybody else notice this?
I created a 4-page document (in FrameMaker, if it makes a
difference...) and made a PDF of it. The document included
several screen-captures.
When I view it in KGhostview, the first two pages are fine,
but starting with the third page, each picture loses its top
half.
The placement remains intact, such that the pictures are
in the right place on the page, but the upper half of each
picture is just white-space. The picture is not scrunched
or compressed. It just has its upper half erased.
I view the same file in Acrobat Reader (KDE3 on SuSE 8)
and it looks fine. All the included pictures are complete
and are properly displayed.
Any ideas?
