You can remove the following lines from java-1.7.0-openjdk.spec to fix
current error in the build: 
%doc AUTHORS
%doc COPYING
%doc ChangeLog
%doc NEWS
%doc README 

But then you will get the following errors (I've tried to build it locally for 
openSUSE 11.4):
I: Program is likely to break with new gcc. Try -fno-strict-aliasing.
W: java-1.7.0-openjdk strict-aliasing-punning

   Usually a strcmp() was intended by the programmer
