Is there anybody on this list that has SuSE 8.0 working with hisax in North America? I have BRI service with U.S. West ( Lucent 5ESS switch ) and an Asuscom-P-IN-100 PCI card. This configuration works without incident using Windows98. With SuSE 8.0, I am able to make outgoing synchronous (using ippp devices ) calls. This allows me to connect with my service provider. In addition, I am able to bond both channels using "isdnctrl addlink ippp0" or xibod. I can also make outgoing asynchronous calls using minicom to conventional phones and have them ring. However, I fail to connect with any incoming asynchronous or synchronous calls. Using a conventional phone ( analog ), I can dial myself with vboxgetty configured to answer. The call is ignored if AT&E in vboxgetty.conf has the form of <MSN>:<SPID> as seen in log excerpt below. Jun 8 15:33:45 hoglin kernel: isdn_tty: call from 3034133412 -> 4133411 ignored Jun 8 15:34:29 hoglin last message repeated 2 times A singe "RING" is reported if AT&E has the form of <MSN without area code>:<SPID>. Shortly afterwards, however, an error is reported in log: Jun 8 15:37:12 hoglin kernel: isdn_net: call from 3034133412 -> 0 4133411 ignored Jun 8 15:37:12 hoglin kernel: isdn_tty: call from 3034133412, -> RING on ttyI1 Jun 8 15:37:12 hoglin kernel: SPID not supplied in EAZMSN The same holds true for incoming calls to minicom! I have also tried unsuccessfully to accept synchronous incoming calls though it was a few weeks ago. Does anybody have any ideas whatsoever? Sven
