Hi all,
In leap, there is no gnome-calendar, so to manage calendars we have to install Evolution.
California is offered is some unofficial repos, but this is a deprecated / unmaintained application. I took the source of gnome- calendar and compiled it, but I am stack with an old version because of unmatched dependencies. And this old version does not allow to configure calendars (no goa integration).
So to avoid all this hassle, it would be nice to have gnome-calendar provided by default.
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
phocean
If my memory serves me right gnome-calendar was not really usable at the time of "cut-off" for Leap, or it could be we just plain forgot to submit it. That does not make any diff for Leap 42.2, there it should at least be available as you point out. So yes, we do intend to make it part of available packages, but probably not installed by default. //Bjørn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
