I have an external USB CD/DVD drive. This drive has always 'just
worked' in openSUSE 11.3 & 11.4. However, under 12.1, the drive doesn't
seem to participate as a removable storage device. It does not appear
in Nautilus when a disc is inserted or raise any prompt when a blank
disc is inserted
Do I need to twiddle something to get GNOME to manage this device as aDoes it appear in "udisks --dump"?
removable media device?
Yes; both worked previously.
Does it happen for both, or only one of them?
Hmmm, actually neither of them appear to work.
What do you get in: gvfs-mount --list
