 Hi,

Thinking out loud, isn't this is going to be more of an interesting
issue in 12.1? if it's going to be GNOME 3, it wont be ABLE to have any
icons on the desktop

Maybe an application icon is the way to go forward..

in the past the LiveCDs had an installer icon on the desktop - I don't
see 
this with the current GNOME LiveCD ;-(

How do you want to do this for 12.1?
