Hi, I recently packaged simple-scan, which is, hmm, a simple scan application :-) It feels much better as a GNOME app than xsane, and so I'm wondering if we should switch to it by default instead of xsane. Can people give it a try and evaluate it? Note that it doesn't ship with a gimp plugin, so that's one big difference with xsane.
