Seriously!  Oh man, I wish I had known in more in advance, I would have
taken time off for that.  We need more Open Source events in the
mid-west / rust-belt.

There is material to market GNOME? :)  That is partially tongue in
cheek, only partially.  KDE seems to have more zealots - although GNOME
is clearly the superior platform.

I'm not much of a marketer, but the new-ish www.gnome.org is a big step
in the right direction.
