Hi,

During the community week, we finally agreed to create GNOME:Contrib for
GNOME packages that should live in Contrib. We started populating
G:Contrib with a few packages (~15 already :-)) and they've all been
accepted in Contrib.

So now is the time to move in our plans to conquer the world: let's copy
the interesting packages from G:Community to G:Contrib! I've created a
table to track this effort:

I've already filled the table a bit, by looking if packages are already
existing in Factory, for example. Now, it'd be nice to have people look
at the packages that are remaining, clean them a bit if needed, and
submit them to G:Contrib.

Once this is done, we can also look at packages from packman and
packages living in some home repositories :-)

(btw, G:Contrib is integrated with osc gnome, so it's really easy to
work on it)
