Is this a known problem? In a regular factory build we have python-gtk
and apparently it does not require python < 2.6..
It should just work. Do you have more details for this error? Is it just
an expansion error?
Vincent,
I think I found it already....
it's just an expansion error, probably coming from 'old' python-gtk that were
once built and then build disabled.
Unfortunately, in this scenario, the packages are never dropped and will remain
used.
In the repos of G:C there is still python-gtk-2.10.4 available... which
probably causes that problem.
I issue a osc wipebinaries GNOME:Community python-gtk -r openSUSE_Factory
but it did not (yet) have any effect... but it might take a scheduler scan /
publisher run to fix this.
So: patience is a virtue, right?
Dominique
