I and several more need it to fix the Audigy Analog/Digital Output jack,
since PA always put this the wrong way. Alsa pre pulseaudio always got
this one right. AKA I have no sound out of box. And there is NO WAY of
setting this in PA, only or volume manager or in alsa conf in cmdline.
Did you file a bug against PA?
