Michael it's a compilated icon. 22x22 and 16x16 icons should be the
simplest. Icon, you proposed is a bit complicated. For this size circle
around geeko's head is not needed etc.

I know and I appreciate his work, however SVG, which is possible to
found in openSUSE, is by default in 48x48. Scaling down causes problems
with readability and icon becomes blurry.

There's no notice about openSUSE in SLAB. Maybe "About openSUSE" [1]
launcher (and maybe "About GNOME" [2] launcher) in system area, since it
contains what usual GNOME's "System" menu contains ;) ?
