The remaining issue is how to best offer access to the nice PA features
(like the speaker setup thing). Some options:
* leave padevchooser icon on the system tray. This might seem redundant,
since it offers the same features the volume applet offers (plus others,
of course), although it doesn't seem to disturb too much
* add menu items to the volume applet's menu to open the different PA
tools
I prefer the latter approach. Having two sound-related applets/icons on
the panel seems like clutter, and I think most users won't distinguish
conceptually between the two.
