I am not sure how pulse audio came about in the first
place.
I am not using it ( and not willing to ) and I think
there are quite a
few people thinking likewise.
This should by no means be a default installable item.
It would help probably if there was a discussion on
what packages _need_
to be installed by default. Maybe even a decision
during install what
the machine is going to be used for.
I vote for usability and ease of use, not accumulation
of all the latest
gimmickry. If I wanted that I would use Ubuntu (
K-Flavour )
