I also plan to generate a .ymp for 1-click install - the moment I joined #opensuse-project this morning, I was jumped to ask for this.
This is now done, the 1-click buttons are visible on Planet SUSE along with an entry directing people using <= 10.2 to use GNOME:STABLE. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org GNOME for openSUSE: http://software.opensuse.org/download/GNOME:/ Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/in
It could cause a prefix clash problems. It could break plugins for people who not updated to G:S completely. At least gimp-devel will not work for distros with GTK in /opt/gnome (it's a libtool file "feature" to search files in exact location). I am thinking about an universal G:S -> G:C patch: Manually written patch with limited one side context adding prefix change to G:S packages. It might help for more packages. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
