I just checked in some changes to the shell script that the cronjob
runs, which should make this a less manual process.  All you have to
do is change the DEBUG=0 variable at the top to DEBUG=1.

I've attached the updated script, which you can just run with "sudo
./beagle-crawl-system" or something similar.  I'd be interested in
knowing what the results are.
