Feature added by: Dean Hilkewich (deanjo13) Feature #314614, revision 1 Title: Default 64-bit version of ISO on openSUSE.ORG openSUSE.org: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Dean Hilkewich (deanjo13) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: It seems to me that we should be encouraging the use of the 64-bit version of openSUSE. Right now the default selection on the download page defaults to 32-bit. With virtually every desktop/laptop x86 processor having 64-bit extensions within the last years we should be encouraging people to try it out. The long time issues of flash/java not having 64-bit support are gone to the point of not even defaulting 32-bit compatibility libs any more on the default install. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: To encourage people trying the 64-bit version who may think there are still old issues about it that have long been resolved. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/314614
