Feature changed by: Kyrill Detinov (Lazy_Kent) Feature #312883, revision 5 Title: 64-bit Flash 11 in OpenSuse 12.1 openSUSE 12.1: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Joseph Mulloy (jdmulloy) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Adobe just released Flash 11 which has a native 64-bit version for Linux, OS X and Windows. It should be included with OpenSuse 12.1 in the same way that Flash 10.x is included in 11.4. I know it's very new but I think the removal of the nsplugginwrapper requirement on 64-bit makes it worthwhile. Flash is also know to have many security bugs, so keeping 12.1 at 10.3 for it's entire lifecycle would be more dangerous than including 11.0 Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Native 64-bit Flash, removed need for nspluginwrapper. Discussion: #1: Ricardo Gabriel Berlasso (rgbsuse) (2011-10-13 11:39:41) Flash player 11 is working OK on openSUSE 11.4. It is on this repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/apps/ but I agree that it needs to be moved to the standard non-oss repo. + #2: Kyrill Detinov (lazy_kent) (2011-10-16 10:22:29) + Flash player 64-bit is already included in Factory. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=flash-player&project=ope... + 3AFactory%3ANonFree -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312883
