Discussion:

libwebp is already in project devel:libraries:c_c++. Now it needs to be
pushed to factory and used by other packages.
Jan, what do you think? Does it make sense for other packages to use
it?

+ mentions that webp suffers in metadata, is limited to that 14-bit 4:2:0
+ YUV colorspace, and how it is a step backwards. I don't mind if
+ packages can read that format, but me personally, I won't be writing to
+ webp format in the near future.
+ msvec already contacted me about factory submission on Jul 29 2011; my
+ response being that he should proceed issuing a SR ("foreign SRs"
+ issued by non-maintainers are possible since a while), though nothing
+ happened so far.
