Feature changed by: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) Feature #311414, revision 2 Title: abort cleanly if install fail openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Jean-Daniel Dodin (jdd) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: if ever the standard installation is aborted, the user go back to the very old ncurse interface. Shoulod simply go to an abort/rtry menu and reboot after ejecting the dvd Test Case: pretty easy. begin any install and at every moment clic on "abort". The main reason could be some one fear to have a bad partition system and to remove windows. Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: it's probably the last "unclean" part of the installer. I just falled on this making 11.4 install tutorials :-) + Discussion: + #1: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) (2011-03-06 18:56:53) + I concur. As soon as control returns to linuxrc, the chroot where yast + ran in is torn down and you have no more access to the yast logs. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311414
