Feature changed by: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh)
Feature #311273, revision 4
Title: Configure ALLMULTI on an interface from YaST
openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed
Priority
Requester: Important
Requested by: Tomas Jensen (tomasjensen)
Partner organization: openSUSE.org
Description:
It would be nice if ALLMULTI could be configured from YaST as a
'rcnetwork restart|start|stop' removes ALLMULTI.
ifcfg-<iface> could have the following parameter in it: ALLMULTI=on|off
in terms it would run: ifconfig <iface> allmulti
Thanks Tomas Jensen
+ Discussion:
+ #1: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) (2011-02-18 01:10:18)
+ Since ifconfig is obsolete and no longer used, this would actually be `
+ ip link set dev allmulticast on `.
