Feature changed by: Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm) Feature #308521, revision 4 Title: Print duplex test page when duplex enabled - openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.3: Done Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Todd R (theblackcat) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: It is easy to enable duplex printing in the YaST printer configuration module. However, the test page that is printed from the YaSt module is only one page long, making it useless for testing whether the duplex printing is actually working correctly. To test it you need to make a two-page document by hand and then print that. Further, cups has the somewhat obtuse "Tumble"/"NoTumble" option, and it is not really obvious what this does. So it would be nice if, when duplex is enabled, the "Print Test Page" button prints a two-page document so you can see if duplex is working and is oriented how you want it. Discussion: #1: Johannes Meixner (jsmeix) (2010-12-08 16:27:59) Since yast2-printer version 2.20.0 a two-page test page testprint. 2pages.ps is added and the test page printing is enhanced to let the user choose to print one (default) or two pages test print e.g. to test duplex printing, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=629160 -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308521
