Feature changed by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) Feature #307824, revision 9 Title: .jpg & .gif user icons - openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.3: Rejected by Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) + reject date: 2010-11-15 10:05:23 + reject reason: Not done in time for openSUSE 11.3. Priority Requester: Neutral Requested by: Mircea Kitsune (mirceakitsune) Description: Small suggestion regarding user pictures. When selecting an user icon under Configure Desktop -> Advanced -> Login Manager (OpenSuse 11.1) the only common image format that's supported is .png. It would be nice if .jpg and .gif images could be chosen as login icons too (possibly . bmp if anyone still uses it). http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/7808/shot1w.png Discussion: #1: Matthew Ayres (solar_granulation) (2010-02-17 00:41:10) While I can see the case for it, I would suggest that .gif not be supported in this context due to the restrictive nature of its license. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/307824
