It would be great if users could simply choose default browser at the
installer so openSUSE won't install unnecessary firefox updates. See

Discussion:
#1: Pavol Rusnak (prusnak) (2010-03-30 18:37:18)
Interesting idea. But Opera and Chromium are not in OSS repository.
Installer would need to add Non-OSS or Contrib repository respectively.
Also Chromium package is being updated cca. every two weeks. (And I'm
talking about Chromium not Chrome, because Chrome is a pile of ****).
#2: Josh Strobl (joshstrobl) (2010-04-07 01:44:52)
Well that is quite arguable actually, considering its been rated one of
the best browsers and is still the fastest web browser in the world.
Somehow though that makes it suck? Google Chrome is a browser you
should use if you want to get somewhere fast and effienciently, not to
mention it keeps up with the web standards, then again what should you
expect? Its Google.
+ #3: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2010-11-08 16:55:12)
+ Rejection since: Users can easily remove firefox - and we do not want
+ to make the normal installation more complex.
