- From: fate_noreply@xxxxxxx
- Date: Wed, 26 May 2010 11:26:06 +0200 (CEST)
- Message-id: <feature-308282-7@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Feature changed by: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger)
Feature #308282, revision 7
Title: iPod touch/iPhone access using iFuse
openSUSE-11.3: Evaluation
Priority
Requester: Important
+ Info Provider: (Novell)
Requested by: Udaya Kumar (ukumars)
Description:
Wondering if iFuse can be added as a default support to manage
iPod/iPhone, as well, perhaps Banshee could be replaced with Rhythmbox
as a default media manager. Alternatively, Banshee could be enhanced
to support iPod Touch/iPhone.
Discussion:
#1: Pavol Rusnak (prusnak) (2009-11-02 16:45:53)
AFAIK Banshee already supports iPod/iPhone devices.
#2: Vincent Untz (vuntz) (2010-02-10 18:59:12)
FWIW, FunkyM is already working on this -- the main issue is that he
didn't know where to submit his packages. He has them in home:FunkyM:
iphone.
#3: Vincent Untz (vuntz) (2010-04-07 23:23:25) (reply to #2)
Status: libimobiledevice & friends have been submitted to Factory.
We'll then need to change libgpod and gvfs to use it.
+ #4: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2010-05-26 11:26:00) (reply to #3)
+ Has libgpod and gvfs changed?
