Feature changed by: Thomas Göttlicher (tgoettlicher) Feature #306852, revision 8 Title: YaST2 screen title needs a machine-name in it openSUSE-11.2: Rejected by Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) reject date: 2009-08-12 14:47:14 reject reason: Too late for 11.2. Priority Requester: Important openSUSE-11.3: Evaluation Priority Requester: Important Projectmanager: Desirable Requested by: Greg Riedesel (gracal) Description: The nomenclature, "[YaST control panel] @ [machine name]' is very useful for figuring out which window belongs to which server. Especially if the managing workstation is also openSUSE. Formerly Bug 385625 Use Case: When managing openSUSE servers over X-forwarding via SSH, it is possible to have multiple YaST screens up at the same time, each belonging to a different remote server. Having a way to differentiate between YaST instances in the title-bar will reduce confusion, and help avoid config mistakes. Discussion: #2: Jan Engelhardt (jengelh) (2010-03-06 00:59:08) The ncurses interface already has this. (The qt one does not?) + #3: Thomas Göttlicher (tgoettlicher) (2010-03-10 16:11:29) (reply to + #2) + yast2-qt shows the hostname in the title bar for remote connection only. I + think it doesn't make sense to show @localhost. + + + -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306852
