Feature changed by: Lee Matheson (oldcpu) Feature #308408, revision 4 Title: Add lightscibe applications to installation DVD or repo openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Mindaugas Baranauskas (embar-) Description: Add lightscibe applications to installation DVD or repo, for example http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/4L-1.0-r6.i586.rpm and drivers from http://lightscribe.com/downloadSection/linux/index.aspx Discussion: #1: Peter Gumbrell (gumb) (2009-11-25 12:50:40) See openFATE request #306911 (306911) - the LaCie software isn't open source so I doubt it will be packaged, although I guess it could go in the non-OSS repository. As for the other package, I see it was updated in June this year. Any idea what the changes are since the previous release? I tried the old one a long while back and found it severely lacking any useful features, but maybe it's been improved? #2: Mindaugas Baranauskas (embar-) (2009-11-30 00:04:58) (reply to #1) I tried it – LaCie just worked and I succesfully printed ...Simple program, but where were all it is needed. So can we add this to Non-OSS? + #3: Lee Matheson (oldcpu) (2009-12-05 13:33:39) + I agree, packaging it in Non-OSS (if allowed by LaCie) would be useful, + plus if practical integrating its launch in the Desktop GUI/menu. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308408
