- Title: Easy way to reset yast2 module written configurations to
- defaults and start over
+ Title: Easy way to reset yast2 written configurations to defaults and
+ start over from scratch

openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed
Priority
Requester: Important

Requested by: Jan-Simon Möller (dl9pf)

Description:
Let me show my point by example:
I install a yast2 module like yast2-xyz-server and run it for the 1st
time. I see a wizard, can enter my data and so on. What if I want to
start over from scratch (badly misconfigured, new setup, whatever).
Currently the common answer is: deinstall xyz and yast2-xyz-server
package, search and remove any config you find and install package
again and retry (and hope you didn't miss a config file ;) ).
My proposal is now: Provide a way in yast to reset the config to
"factory-default" and let the user start over in an easy and convenient
way.
