Feature changed by: Ney walens de Mesquita (nwm) Feature #306777, revision 4 Title: Yast Proxy Module GNOME integration openSUSE-11.2: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Ney walens de Mesquita (nwm) Description: Would be nice if Yast Proxy module can integrate with Gnome Proxy setting. One of the problens about Proxy Module is that set System Proxy and not gconf configuration. This can cause a problem with firefox when the proxy settings has changed by Yast and Gnome relly on System Proxy and no in GCONF. Apparently Firefox by default relly in gconf. Discussion: #1: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2009-07-14 16:01:01) This looks to me like a bug - I thought this was working with GNOME. Vincent, could you comment on this, please? #2: Vincent Untz (vuntz) (2009-07-17 14:16:51) (reply to #1) This sounds like a bug in Firefox: in openSUSE, we have a patch that adds a /system/proxy/use_system_settings gconf key. This is not upstream. Firefox should probably look at this key too. Federico might know more about this. + #3: Ney walens de Mesquita (nwm) (2009-07-23 00:01:54) + Thanks, i will look at this bug and find a way to avoid then -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306777
