Feature changed by: Rajko Matovic (rajko_m) Feature #305929, revision 2 Title: Startup in X even when the xorg.conf fails openSUSE-11.2: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Joop Boonen (worldcitizen) Description: As there are more and more new users within openSuSE with less knowledge. I was thinking it's an option to boot in Vesa when the original xorg.conf fails. Than the user is still able to fix the problem via a GUI i.e. YaST and SAX. + Discussion: + #1: Rajko Matovic (rajko_m) (2009-03-01 14:58:20) + Failsafe boot option should provide that, or you have some other idea, + like to attempt to start Xorg again with xorg.install file if first + start ends with error. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/305929
