- Message-id: <feature-305692-6@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Feature changed by: Michael Loeffler (sprudel24)
Feature #305692, revision 6
Title: Better hardware support in SAX
- openSUSE-11.2: Unconfirmed
+ openSUSE-11.2: New
Priority
Requester: Desirable
Requested by: Andrey Karepin (egdfree)
Description:
For example:
* horizontal scrolling on mouse Logitech G5 out of the box and support
for additional keys
* add to SAX profile keyboard Logitech Wave, with the support of all
the extra keys (multemidiynyh and Fn)
* add to SAX profile for your monitor Acer P223W (P243W, etc.) and its
auto-detect
Discussion:
#1: Dean Hilkewich (deanjo13) (2009-01-18 06:04:15)
I agree that SaX2 needs some TLC. Support for more then one card is
badly needed in a day and age where multicard setups are pretty common.
I would also like to see better multimedia keyboard support and as well
as the possiblity of binding extra buttons right within sax on a mouse.
Sometimes there is support for a keyboard but the supporting libraries
are not built by the suse team (ie the G15 but no official g15daemon
package which is required).
