Hi all,
A few days ago, I decided to package Pijul and submit it to Factory.
Although Git is the king when it comes to version control systems (at least in the opensource world), there are other alternatives which implement different approaches. And Pijul could be one of those alternatives.
Pijul, which is written in Rust, is based in a theory of patches[1] and it was born as an attempt to solve Darcs[2] performance problems. If you are interested, please, just have a look at the project's website[3].
Until the package lands into Factory[4], you can find it in its devel project[5].
Regards, Imo

Thanks for bringing this to Factory! Tried to comment on the request, but it didn't work. Two points: I believe the "official" distribution channel for pijul is crates.io [1]. They are already at 0.12.2. You can curl/wget the sources from https://crates.io/api/v1/crates/pijul/%{version}/download Pijul provides bash, fish and zsh completion scripts. Would be great to see packages for them. pijul generate-completions --bash > pijul pijul generate-completions --fish > pijul.fish pijul generate-completions --zsh > _pijul Once again, thanks for bringing this to Factory!
