There is a process for raising concerns in this project when one maintainer disagrees with another. That is when the openSUSE Board should be contacted by the aggrieved parties.
How easy would it be to have a bot add a message pointing out the availability of this process 3 months after SLE has been mentioned in an openSUSE bug and it is still open? Or alternatively the bot could bring such bugs to the attention to the board directly.
The Board is just there to intervene when _maintainers_ are disagreeing. The Board care about the people first, not the packages, nor the process. So, a bot would be inappropriate in this case - no point having a bot point out a problem unless the Project has a maintainer who cares for it's remediation. When we have maintainers who care, it's better to deal with their concerns personally than with a bot. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
