Hi list,
I just found some cool ML project using the tensorflow package. Seeing it's in the normal Tumbleweed repo I wanted to install it, but I get
3 Problems: Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-doc-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64
It obviously doesn't like the recent switch to Python 3.7 :o Is such regarded an error (-> bugreport), or rather a sit-and-wait thing that should resolve itself soon?
In this specific case it's a bit of both. I received https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/673628 which should address the build fail of tensorflow with python 3.7 - but it does not build. So, some work is in progress to move in the right direction, but the change is not complete. I'd say: give it a day to see if the maintainers answer to your thread, then file a bug report.
