Please don't. But wan't this about boot times? The rpmdb backup is not a boot time service, is it?
It is: [Timer] Persistent=true
Persistent=true has really bad sideeffects, I removed it meanwhile from my timers everywhere.
Well, not everywhere as backup-rpmdb.timer still has it :-) Mind catching up on it? Are there any other side effects besides firing at system boot?
Unless system is up 24 hours a day non-persistent timers may never trigger at all. --><-- If true, the time when the service unit was last triggered is stored on disk. When the timer is activated, the service unit is triggered immediately if it would have been triggered at least once during the time when the timer was inactive. This is useful to catch up on missed runs of the service when the machine was off. --><-- "triggered immediately" is what causes it run at boot. It affects mostly home users who do not keep their systems running all the time. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
